Meh, at best. The experience began, not by being seated but, by being pointed to a table. Ten minutes later, my wife flagged down a server to get menus. We ordered our meals and I ordered a salad, plus a meal to go to take home for our daughter. Our meals were brought to the table by someone other than the person who waited on us. It was kind of a drive-by encounter, as I didn't have time to ask where my salad was nor order more drinks and bread before the person dropping off our food disappeared. The food was adequate but far from the best Italian meal we've ever had. Upon telling the waitress I never got my salad, her only response was she would take it off the bill. She did me a huge solid on that one! Some time after we finished eating, she returned to hustle us for dessert. I guess she didn't notice our plates were still half full. We asked for containers for our leftovers and I asked if we were going to get our take out meal soon. About fifteen minutes later, our take out meal arrived, indicating that order likely wasn't placed (like my salad.) This was both our first time at this establishment and our last. There are too many good places to eat to ever go back to a place that is barely mediocre.

Food *** Service ***** Ambiance ***** Price ***** We’re regulars here, food is good. The ambiance feels somewhat like Bucca de Beppo, very cozy, Italian style place, definitely a good vibe. I order the garbage salad regularly and noticed for the first time they reduced the size of it. So I got a smaller version than normal. One of our other spaghetti plates needed to be “enhanced” because it was so bland. It was fixed. I gave 3 stars for the food because it’s inconsistent, sometimes better than other times, seems to be random. Prices are reasonable, get a good quantity of food.

Ordered here for the first time since moving to New Lenox a year ago. I only ever get chicken parm when I visit Italian places. Chicken parm wasn't bad, but not good to me. One of the pieces of parm had no sauce or mozzarella on it, basically a breaded piece of chicken. The mastacholli was bland and had very little sauce as well. I feel the price I paid for this meal was a bit too much for the quality. Nice place and prompt service when I went to pick up though.
